| NFL Betting – Keep An Eye On Injured Marshall | |
|
Brandon Marshall was one of the big moves of the offseason as he was traded from Denver to Miami for a pair of second-round draft picks, but the two-time Pro Bowl receiver will be out until the beginning of training camp due to surgery on his hip, which he also had operated on last year. The Dolphins didn't know that last year's procedure didn't fully fix Marshall's hip, and it didn't seem to affect him as he rolled towards his third consecutive 1,000-yard season and second straight Pro Bowl. This isn't a big deal for the Dolphins, who are looking to replace Ted Ginn Jr. in the lineup. Marshall is exponentially an upgrade in the offense over Ginn, and even if he's behind a bit when it comes to knowing the Dolphins' system, he has enough natural talent to compensate. The major problem that it causes is that he has fewer reps with Chad Henne, who is going into camp for the first time as the No.1 starter for an NFL team. This is a minor risk to take for the Dolphins, who now have one of the top five receivers in the league, and they've even been surprised at how outgoing Marshall, who is known for being temperamental, has been since joining the team. Miami may be the trendy sports bet of the upcoming season. |
