NFL Betting – Vikings, Bears Will Play Under Sunday Night Spotlight

As if the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears didn’t have enough to deal with stuck in a division with the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions, two teams that have combined to open the year with 10 straight wins. While the sports betting world talks about the chances that those two NFC North rivals will meet in the conference championship game, the Vikings and Bears will bare the burden of clashing under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football in a game that has some fans wishing that the NFL “flex” rule was already in effect.

Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears (-3)

Sunday, 8:30 PM ET

While most people would rather see another game with two teams that have put themselves in better position to compete for a postseason spot through five weeks, both Minnesota and Chicago have the opportunity to turn the early season struggles around. The Vikings unleashed running back Adrian Peterson on the Arizona Cardinals and he rewarded them by rushing for 122 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-10 win. Meanwhile, the Bears have been up and down so far this season, and probably belong somewhere in the middle as a team that could finish .500. While Chicago is at home and stands a better chance of still competing for a playoff spot, it’s Minnesota that will come out on top in this one with a lot less pressure and a lot more to prove after terrible starts in consecutive NFL picks years.
